This fund, The Lamb Family Fund for Ability and Adaption, was started with a generous gift from George and Cindy Lamb in anticipation of making charitable gifts to organizations and agencies that serve individuals living with physical disabilities. This fund is in line with an additional fund the Lamb family created, The Lamb Family Fund for Crotty Park Playground.
Both Funds demonstrate the family’s history of caring philanthropy throughout our community. Nothing says love, kindness, generosity and giving more than gifts from the heart. The first grant made by the SRCCF from the Lamb Family Fund for Ability and Adaptation was a $5000 grant to I-80 AMBUCS, a non-profit organization in Seneca, Illinois, who created an Amtryke for Lily Thompson.
The purpose of the Fund is to make charitable grants to local organizations who serve individuals living with physical disabilities.
