SRCCF Hosts an Illinois Valley Quilts of Valor ceremony for five veterans

The Starved Rock Country Community Foundation hosted an Illinois Valley Quilts of Valor ceremony for five veterans on Wednesday at the IVCC Ottawa Center. Participants included from left: quilters Terry Johnson and Sybil McGunnigal, veterans Gary Graffis, Dave Knoll and Bob Kuhn, all of Ottawa, Ronald Lee Sisco of Mendota, quilter Martha Patelli, veteran Bob Marshall of Ottawa, and quilter Betty Baznik. “Each quilt is a tangible embodiment of gratitude, meticulously handcrafted by dedicated volunteers who generously donate their time, skills, and resources,” Johnson said.
