The proposed improvements include installing a splash pad, lighting enhancements, pickleball courts, fitness equipment, horseshoe pits, bocce ball courts, and more. The estimated cost for these enhancements exceeds $600,000.
To help fund this project, Grand Ridge Village has applied for an Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant, which would cover half of the total cost. Mayor Kay Hines and the village are actively involved in rallying community support and raising funds for this initiative.
