“Our area is a bit removed from the Chicago collar county opportunities which could limit students in their professional endeavors but that should not prevent them from the training required. Many young people are unsure of their professional insights at this age, and as a result the junior college experience offers the time and exploration of various interests as a steppingstone eventually leading on to a final and appropriate decision. It motivates students to learn something real and genuine that they can rely upon for the rest of their lives,” Dave says.
Another “target” area Dave believes strongly in is communication – training people to express themselves clearly, easily, verbally and in writing.
