Photo: Kevin and Debbi Esler of Ottawa recently created two community-enriching funds with the Starved Rock Country Community Foundation. Gathering recently in downtown Ottawa are SRCCF President Fran Brolley, left, and Director of Operations Janice Corrigan with the Esler’s.

Debbi and Kevin Esler fell in love with the Ottawa riverfront while on a guided boat tour more than 20 years ago. The couple, formerly of Lombard, have created two charitable funds with the Starved Rock Country Community Foundation to demonstrate just how much they cherish the region. Working with SRCCF Foundation founder Pamela Beckett, the Esler’s created a Donor Advised Fund and a Donor Designated Fund to make charitable gifts now and in perpetuity.
