The Arts of Starved Rock Country Fund was established to provide a non-competing neutral hub and financial support to charitable organizations and agencies engaged in the world of art throughout Starved Rock Country.
The Arts of Starved Rock Country Fund offers competitive grants to charitable arts and cultural organizations and provides a non-competing, neutral hub to engage and connect members of the arts community. Initially made possible by a generous gift from the former Illinois Valley Fine Arts Trust and the Omni Arts Trust, our work includes workshops for artists, hosting the OmniHonors event to recognize individuals and organizations who have demonstrated a significant achievement in the arts, and a comprehensive website for all artists to connect, share their work and be celebrated.
The Arts of Starved Rock Country Fund is a non-competitive, neutral hub to engage and connect local artists and arts organizations, cultural organizations, sponsors, patrons, and venues; to provide competitive grant opportunities to arts organizations, museums, schools, libraries and cultural organizations throughout LaSalle, Bureau, Putnam and Grundy counties located in north central Illinois; and to offer online resources and educational opportunities to our arts community. We are strongly focused on collaboration and partnership throughout our region. Our mission is to bring the art community, traditionally operating in rural “silos”, together under a first-ever, neutral, regional organization. We are committed to assisting our local artists, arts agencies and cultural organizations to deliver the highest quality, broad in scope, educational, and interactive arts opportunities.
