The Starved Rock Country Community Foundation touches hundreds of lives in LaSalle, Bureau and Putnam counties each year by strengthening the power of local nonprofits and individuals.
One such organization is Braveheart Children’s Advocacy Center which has an office in Princeton. Braveheart serves children aged 3 to 17 by helping police investigate child abuse cases.
Braveheart deters abuse through prevention, intervention, and advocacy. Recently, a high school senior said he would not have graduated if he hadn’t participated in a Braveheart counseling group. He graduated early and is working.
SRCCF has supported Braveheart with three community grants and it is among a number of organizations that rely on SRCCF.
Since 2015, SRCCF has distributed over $2.6 million in community investments, grants and scholarships. We facilitate local giving, by local people, for local causes.
But we need your help to continue our good work. Please support our 2024 Year-End Appeal and know that every dollar helps us better serve the community.
Donate online below. Thank you for helping us support essential human needs and community growth.
Sincerely,
Fran Brolley, President & CEO
