Recognize Your Strength: First Annual “Stuff The Stocking” Drive Complete!

Share Post :

Founder Mary Considine of the Recognize Your Strength- RYS Fund smiles as she sits among many gifts she was able to purchase due to the generosity of so many donors in the community.

Mary says the first annual STUFF THE STOCKING drive is complete! Through this, she was able to provide 25 children who experience parental addiction with new clothes, new shoes, new winter gear, personal hygiene products, and some extra Christmas gifts based on their interests!

“We could not have had more success with this our first year! THANK YOU to all who helped make it a success: the donors, the caseworkers, the people who helped me shop, the people who helped me put all the gifts together, and the people who helped me deliver! It took a village to complete this project and I’m so proud. There are going to be a lot of happy kiddos this Christmas!”

THANK YOU to local businesses: FOURTH STREET BAKERY, LaSalle Body & Fender, Double M Trucking Inc., First State Bank, LKCS, Meraki Beauty Room, Debo Ace Hardware, Lori Janko Wilke – State Farm Insurance Agent.

Merry Christmas from RYS!
