New President & CEO Fran Brolley comes to SRCCF following a 34-year career at Illinois Valley Community College in Oglesby. He retired in April 2023 as Executive Director of Community Relations and Development.

Brolley played a vital role in the $2.1 million capital campaign for the Community Technology Center and in a scholarship campaign that raised over $700,000. In total, Brolley helped raise over $4 million in private funding.

Brolley also oversaw significant growth in the number of scholarships awarded. In his final year at the college, more than $400,000 was awarded to 200+ students.

Before IVCC, Brolley was a news and feature writer at the News Tribune in La Salle and two newspapers in southeast Iowa.

His community involvement includes being Board President for Lighted Way, a children’s developmental center in La Salle.

Brolley lives in Shorewood with his wife Mary. Together they have eight children and eight grandchildren with two more on the way.

“I am so fortunate to join an organization helping build our community through philanthropy,” Brolley said. “After just eight years, SRCCF now touches every part of our region.

“It is an honor – and a formidable challenge – to carry on Pamela Beckett’s extraordinary legacy.”
