2026 Art Grant Application Season Now Open

The Arts of Starved Rock Country Fund grant application process is underway for art programs, performances and projects scheduled between January 1 and June 30, 2026. 

• Non-Profit Organizations: Grants are available to non-profit organizations serving LaSalle, Bureau, and Putnam Counties. Proof of non-profit status is required, and a copy of your 501(c)3 letter from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) must be attached to your grant application.

• Schools, Libraries, Community Groups: Grants must be used for charitable purposes that serve a broad range of your students, members and/or the community at large. The application deadline is September 15, 2025. Grant announcements will be made in early October.

Spring 2025 grants were awarded to Community Players of Streator, NCI Artworks of Peru, Somonauk Public Library, Stage 212 of LaSalle, Ottawa Concert Association, Princeton Theater Group, Mendota Museum and Historical Society, and Ladd Public Library. 

The program is supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council.
