The Illinois Department of Human Services is looking for artwork (in all media) that shines a light on the journey from darkness to hope for people with addiction, specifically gambling.

 

The juried competition offers cash stipends of $2,000, $1,000 and $500; it’s free to enter and the deadline for submissions is March 31. The winning artwork will be displayed in several public places around the state, including the Illinois State Fair in Springfield.
